The Howard Payne Sports Information Office is responsible for all aspects of media relations concerning the Department of Athletics and its 12 varsity athletic squads. Recording, re-transmitting or using digital images of any Howard Payne athletic contest without consent from the Department of Athletics is prohibited.
 
MEDIA INFORMATION
Interviews
Howard Payne coaches and players are available for in-person interviews or via telephone on occasions where prior arrangements have been made.  Please make all interview requests through the HPU Sports Information Office.  Please note that players and coaches are not available for interviews on game days unless prior approval has been granted.

Postgame Interviews
Following the standard 10-minute cooling-off period, HPU head coaches and players are available for interviews.  Please note for all Howard Payne athletic events, both home and away, HPU locker rooms are closed to the media.  For road contests, please make your interview requests for coaches and players through the HPU Sports Information office or the host SID.

Game Services
Complete team and individual statistics and game notes are provided to the media following each Howard Payne home contest.  Telephone, and copy machine services are also available.  The HPU Sports Information staff is available to assist you with any fax or copy requests that you may have at each home event.

Visiting Broadcasts
Visiting broadcast spots are available at all HPU sporting venues. Please contact the HPU athletics communications department ahead of time to make sure accommodations are available on the date requested to broadcast. 

American Southwest Conference services
Statistics, league standings, and other information for all American Southwest Conference teams and the league as a whole are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week exclusively at  www.ascsports.org
